Document Control Specialist
Remote — USA & Canada Full-time · Remote Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week with flexible start times US business hours

About the role
Every permit, certificate and contract, versioned and findable in seconds.
What you'll do
- Control document versions and approval workflows
- Maintain the master register of contracts and certificates
- Issue controlled copies and track distribution
- Archive superseded documents correctly
- Run periodic document audits
- Train teams on document handling standards
- Prepare, format and file documents, contracts and internal records accurately
- Maintain digital filing systems so records can be retrieved quickly and securely
- Coordinate calendars, meetings and deadlines across multiple stakeholders
- Verify data for completeness and correct discrepancies before records are finalised
- Produce weekly status reports for managers and flag anything at risk
- Handle confidential information in line with company privacy policies
Required qualifications
- Document control or records management experience
- Legally authorised to work in the country or region you are applying from
- Professional, dependable and comfortable working to clear standards
Nice to have
- ISO documentation exposure
- Experience working with international customers
- Previous experience in a fast-growing company
