Property Inspection Officer
On-site — Assigned territory, Texas & Oklahoma, USA Full-time · On-site Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm with optional paid overtime and occasional weekend call-outs
$30 – $52 / hr
About the role
Physically verify condition, safety and compliance on every property before and after handover.
What you'll do
- Conduct 3–6 full property inspections per day
- Check structure, roofing, plumbing, electrical and drainage condition
- Photograph and document every defect with location references
- Verify site access, levelling, tie-downs and utility connections
- Produce written inspection reports the same day
- Confirm remedial work has been completed to standard on re-inspection
- Report safety hazards immediately to the office
- Travel to assigned properties and complete scheduled work orders safely and on time
- Diagnose faults on site and carry out repairs to a professional standard
- Document all work with written notes and before/after photographs
- Follow all health, safety and site-access procedures without exception
- Maintain tools, van stock and materials, reporting shortages promptly
- Coordinate daily with the office team on scheduling, parts and customer access
Required qualifications
- Inspection, surveying or trades background
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Legally authorised to work in the country or region you are applying from
- Professional, dependable and comfortable working to clear standards
Nice to have
- Home inspection certification
- Experience working with international customers
- Previous experience in a fast-growing company
